Torquay Central - Who we are.

Torquay Central is a Church - that is, we are a community of people who have been brought together through what God has done for us in Jesus Christ. We want to share his life and the good news of his death and resurrection. We worship Jesus as Lord and Saviour and want to help others to do the same. To that end we seek to be a community based around

To find out more about how we put these values into action, click on the links in the side-bar.

This is a prayer we often use in church - it comes from the Hengrave Community.

Lord Jesus,
your sign of reconciliation is the Cross
in all it's breadth and length
and height and depth.
Teach us to share it,
with you and with our sisters and brothers,
so that we may learn
to act justly,
walk humbly,
and love tenderly;
and so waiting upon the Spirit
become instruments of your peace,
to the glory of God the Father.
